How can we create a better targeted ad experience for users on social media?

The purpose of this research is to study targeted ads being used on social media, understand the opportunities and downfalls of targeted advertising, and propose a better targeted ad experience for users on social media.

 

While taking the Contextual Research Methods course, the group, consisted of two UX designers (Andrew Goodridge & Nandika Gupta) and an art director (Isabela Hayashi de Sena), learned and put different research methods into practice. This magazine comes with some articles and insights from the applied techniques and outcomes.

We used different techniques to come up with questions and answers for the problems and solutions related to Targeted Advertising on Social Media. These are some of the techniques we applied:
